What garage doors work costs, and which of it you should not be paying for at all.
Prices vary by region and by how much access the job needs. Where a job has a genuine do-it-yourself version we say so rather than quoting a number for it.

- Weather seal at the bottom cracked and hard
- Metal rollers with visible flat spots
- Door closes then immediately opens again
- Insulated door with sections separating
- Opener over twenty years old
- Door shudders on the way up
- Remote works, wall button does not
- Slab has heaved and the door no longer seals
- Door and opener installed together, both failing together
- Wind-load rating on a newer door
- Smart opener dropping off the network
- Insulated door on an unconditioned garage
- Photo eyes knocked out of alignment
- Keypad stopped working after a battery change
- New door already noisy
- Springs and hardware rusting faster than expected
- Leaves and seed debris packed in the tracks
